ONSITE AUCTIONS

On the day of the auction, before bidding or as soon as the vehicle is pronounced "sold", you will pay a deposit to the auction company.

Payment is in cash either:

  • By bank transfer: The vehicle may be collected upon receipt of the funds on our account. Once your transfer has been completed, wait 48 hours and call us before you come.
  • By credit card (remember to ask your bank to raise the upper limit of your card).
  • By certified cheque drawn up by your bank branch, for the exact amount of your purchase
  • By cheque accompanied by a letter of credit (you can pick up a model of the letter on the spot or on our site) to be submitted or sent to us by fax or email by your bank.
  • Intra-EU deliveries: by bank transfer only.
  • In cash up to €1,000 including fees for any transaction within the EU and €15,000 for any non-EU transaction. (NB: cash payments are not accepted in every auction centre).

ONLINE FLASH AUCTIONS

Any user can bid on our online FLASH auctions as soon as they sign up (acceptance of the terms of sale)

At the end of the auction, if you have won it, you will receive a statement of your purchase and the amount owed, including costs. You agree to settle the balance of the amount due (hammer price including the commission as mentioned on the vehicle file at FIVE AUCTION) to the auctioneer or to the Commercial Auction House ("Société de Vente Volontaire") responsible for the auction that issues the award notice, within three days of the sale.

You have two options for settling the balance:

  • Either you want to come and pick up your vehicle at the "FIVE AUCTION" storage centre concerned (see vehicle file): in this case, contact the storage centre beforehand. You can pay directly on site by certified cheque or credit card.
  • Or, you can request the delivery of your vehicle by carrier, in which case the payment can be made by certified cheque, by payment authorisation or by bank transfer after contacting the storage centre in advance.

In the event of a payment from a bank outside France, the buyer must pay the cost of the transfer or the remittance of a foreign cheque.

If the storage centre concerned has not received the balance of payment after a period of 3 working days, the sale is considered cancelled
