PRIVACY PRACTICES

The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), which came into effect on 25 May 2018, set out the guidelines for collecting, processing and storing personal data. They also guarantee rights for the people concerned.

Personal data collected

Two types of personal data are collected on the www.fiveauction.fr website

• data collected by the Google Analytics audience measurement tool

Purpose of collecting personal data

The purpose of collecting data on the www.fiveauction.fr site is to constitute a management file of FIVE AUCTION's prospective and current customers. This file is used for statistical purposes, to contact and/or offer relevant content to contacts.
By submitting the form and ticking the form's consent tickbox, the user expressly agrees that their personal data may be processed for marketing purposes.

The purpose of collecting personal data through the Google Analytics audience tracking tool used on the site and the landing pages is to analyse the behaviour of the users on the site and landing page in order to measure the audience and improve performance

Google Analytics uses third-party cookies to distinguish between users. Cookies are text files installed on the terminals of web users. They do not contain any personally identifiable information, only randomly created identifiers.
By browsing the site, the web user expressly agrees that the personal data collected by Google Analytics may be processed for the purpose of analysing the behaviour of web users in order to improve the performance of the site and landing pages.

Data retention period

The data collected using the forms on the www.fiveauction.fr website for identified contacts are kept for a maximum period of 36 months. At the end of these periods without activity on the website, all the data relating to the person is deleted.

Confidentiality of the data
